Robert Carver Washington was born March 19, 1969 in Clearwater, Florida to Mr. Elzie and the late Mrs. Betty M. Washington. As a child growing up in the south, he was reared in a loving Christian environment. He eventually joined a gospel group, "The Gospel Company", as a guitarist.
